Thanks to my daughter Olivia who assisted me in creating the splash with her dynamic ability to drop things at the right & wrong time.

I totally give credit to Siebe for this wonderfully imaginative idea. His set is very inspirational!!!

Now, I need to get my hands on some really cool mugs.

Deze zwierige danseressen op stelten maakten voor in de avond nog een laatste rondje tijdens Donderdag Meppeldag

Luna wanted to see "doggy" according to her dad so I had Benni sit close to her. Luna wanted to see from about this distance and didn't get closer even though the dad reached out and patted Benni.

Well, it's my last day of being 41!!!!!!!!!!!

Tomorrow I will be in the words of Jennifer Anniston...30-12...lol

So, I decided to go out with a splash....(No photographers got wet during the making of this shot...thankfully...although it was close...lol..:O))

I will be celebrating my Birthday in Colchester tomorrow, so if I don't visit any of your wonderful streams, that would be why....I will endeavour to get around to you all upon my return..:O))

Hopefully the weather will be kind to me tomorrow, although...it's looking like being a dull and cloudy day...as opposed to a sunny one, so I may go to the Zoo again or something...may as well spend my Birthday with some of God's creatures, at least on the most part they like me..lol...:O)))

I'm looking forward to having my jelly and ice cream party tomorrow anyway....I'm 30-12 going on 5.....lol

Anyhoo...I hope everybody has a wonderful Sunday and a great new week ahead..:O))

Random Goodness Working towards a Better World

Making Hay in the Wimmera, where a team of tractors and balers move in, one team mows, then leaves it to cure, this can take days or weeks, another comes and rakes it ready to bale, then another comes through the night and bales it before the warmth of the Sun makes it too crisp to bale. Soon after the loaders stack into large groups and then within hours it is loaded and off to market. What I have here was all in one day, and the next day the paddock was bare.

(or at least rendering down some grapefruit;-)

Macro Mondays - Citrus theme

(& also;-) 3 potato masher tongs? are 6 cm wide)

(no rind included, because of all the Anti-fungals that are applied in wax coating to skin of commercially packed citrus fruit these days........they scare me and I'm fearless;-)

A week later and i made another trip to Bushy Park, ( Trip 6 ) in London. The Rut was showing signs of happening, although a bit low key.

This Common Mallard was making a Splash as it took a Water bath on the boating pond.

This is a park I had been to many times and this particular day was looking like any other day. I wasn't seeing anything new to photograph. But then I saw the sprinklers. This wasn't new, but they created something different. I took shots of them like they were models on a fashion catwalk. I took all the pics in color as I always do but converted a few of them to b&w. We were in the mood for dumplings today and ordered both the fried pork dumplings and the steamed pork & leek dumplings at Shanghai Cafe (@ 100 Mott). They were pretty good, but these are the dumplings I dream about.

[RP Pic] "Crossing into Idaho without much in the way of trouble. Things are still pretty wild out here, but I haven't seen any Infected yet or had much trouble with thugs. Lotsa dry bones alongside the old highways though, a testament to the fact that while civilization may be making a come-back; it hasn't reached here just yet."

we are on vacation...having a great time. xo
