Beautiful gypsy makes a face at the camera during the 2014 Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie, Texas. This is another test of my hypothesis that beautiful women still look beautiful no matter how they twist their face in to weird expressions. Compare this portrait with the one of the same woman in the previous post. What do you think?

After 18 miles of running this marathoner had enough energy to make a face when she saw the camera. She followed this face with a nice smile.

Look at this amazing sewing machine cover Amy made for me! It matches absolutely perfectly in my sewing loft, has the prettiest fabrics, and it says "mama loves"!
And if that wasn't enough she also made me a BEAUTIFUL sewing caddy out of my all time favorite FFA2 fabric! Perfect for holding my sewing patterns and tools!
And I also got the cutest Jane Market Bag ~ eek I can't wait to bring it to the farmer's market!

New Willy Mixtup and my Tiddley Winks from the fifties.
I remember the local store where my dad bought the Tiddley Winks for me. A tall handsome man and his plump, charming little wife named "Gert" owned it, and they sold fishing equipment, wallpaper and paint, small appliances, and best of all, toys! I loved going there!
I was feeling a little slaphappy, ok? many of you will see further evidence of this, as I also wrote all of my postcards at this time.
Do you ever meet one of those infectious young people who have absolutely no reservations in front of the camera? Well meet John. Take the camera away and he is quiet and reserved; almost painfully shy.
The day after our hike and playground day with the girls we took them into the Saturday market in Ganges. They tired of the craft and produce booths fairly quickly, but the active play area and playground were fun. Another nice day with the grandkids.
We are on Salt Spring Island for August.
We had a day with grandkids Friday, August 23. We went for a walk in the forest with them, taking them part way up Mt Erskine. GouGou came with us.
