Disney's Maleficious Halloween Party
Luggage carts of various sorts are a favorite prop for Disney Imagineers looking to add a touch of authenticity to their attractions. We see them at train stations, Jungle outposts, and even space ports in a galaxy far, far away. They drive in the point that as we collectively board some sort of vehicle, we're not just about to go on a ride, but to embark on a journey through a realm of fantasy that only Disney has the magic to take us to.

Disneyland's Main Street USA iconic shop. This angle had the lamp post decorated with the Main Street Electrical Parade bunting and the colors seemed to offset the backdrop rather nicely to me.

Few views can compare to this. While it's been done many times in the past, there is a reason why. It just simply does not get any better than an empty Main St and her Castle in all of its glory.

I decided not to process this as an HDR and instead use a single exposure in just Lightroom. Originally I thought I would want to have the lights be exposed and not blown out, but I actually prefer them to be blown out for this shot.
I just finished shoveling 6 inches of snow and now I have the heat turned on to try and get warm. It is mornings like this that I wish I could just get on a plane and leave for somewhere warm. Tomorrow is the first day of Spring though, so I guess all of the snow will disappear by the time I wake up! :)
Have a great day.

Just before the "Boo to You" Parade at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (Disney's Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World) the Headless Horseman rides down Main Street in front of Cinderella Castle. The horseshoes are making sparks as the traditional ride makes its way down Main Street.

One of my most favorite things to do when I go to Disney, that I make sure I never miss, are the Wishes fireworks. I make sure I at least see these two or three times while visiting the Magic Kingdom. Cinderella's Castle is probably one of the best if not THE best backdrop to have for shooting fireworks. I have also found that the train station offers probably the best view of the fireworks that I have ever seen and I'm really picky as to where I see Wishes from. Where's your "go to" spot to photograph Wishes? Have a great weekend!
