We went to Walt Disney World at the end of last week. I have a few more from the trip that I'll post. This was one of my favorites.

The one time of the year that gives us this great great light and mood. Plus it takes you out of the heat while you sit and wait for the parade to start. It's also awesome to see the lights of Main St just start to come on as the parade progresses and it gets darker.

This weekend Marshall celebrated recovering from Helene with a street fair. It was wonderful to see a handful of shops and a brewery reopen, but devastation is still all around. The mountain people are resilient.

There was just something unique about this shot that I liked. The composition doesn't feel 100% comfortable, the shutter wasn't quite fast enough, but this sight makes me really happy.
Revitalization of downtown Selma, NC. A beautiful small town America, where people were all so friendly to chat, true southern hospitality.

With this being similar to Hallowishes fireworks, I wanted to try a new location and while the Castle is blocked I feel having the tree as the center point really drives home the holiday feel of it. Although, I would say if you want to see the entire show to stand off to the side of the tree or not at the train station at all. But for this one shot, it provides a fantastic vantage point.

Happy New Year's Eve from Main Street USA in Disney World. Man, last night here at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom it was surprisingly cold, dipping into the 40's! But we still had a great time and they have all sorts of special celebrations going on. Tonight I'll be at Epcot for the giant fireworks display at midnight -- fun fun! #Disney #MagicKingdom #Disneyworld #MainstreetUSA via Trey Ratcliff on FB at ift.tt/1v05hWZ Snapchat: treyratcliff ift.tt/1qx3iMJ Instagram: treyratcliff ift.tt/1c7s6Uy
Late night shot on Main Street USA after a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I think Halloween definitely trumps Christmas at the Magic Kingdom. Such an awesome atmosphere and change of pace for MK.
