A stunning photo I snapped of Comet C/2014 Q2 Lovejoy and the Pleiades Open Star Cluster (M45) last night at Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown, Rhode Island, USA. Comet Lovejoy has grown a super sexy tail and continues to mesmerize!

The Meteor was an amazing add in for this picture. It started in the sky as red then ended in green. It was amazing to see and great to have in this shot!
A star trail is a type of photograph that utilizes long-exposure times to capture the apparent motion of stars in the night sky due to the rotation of the Earth. A star trail photograph shows individual stars as streaks across the image, with longer exposures resulting in longer streaks. Typical exposure times for a star trail range from 15 minutes to several hours, requiring a 'bulb' setting on the camera to open the shutter for a longer period than is normal.

A quick shot I captured of tonight's 16% waxing crescent Moon over Providence, Rhode Island. Temps are dropping steady into the weekend when subzero temps will set in. We had a quick bout of clearness, so I setup and snapped the shot.

This was a trial of the Focus Stacking in Magic Lantern.
A series of 30 exposures at different focal lengths, it didn't come out perfect, but looking forward to testing it out more later on.

A refreshing start on my excursion to Ko Samui.
Needless to say, when I say this sunrise, I had to stop and capture it for you all to see.
Tinsulanonda Bridges connects Ko Yo to the mainland. Ko Yo is an island on Songkhla Lake. There are 2 parts of this bridge, the northeast and the southwest. This picture was taken on the south-western bridge.
7 frames HDR using Magic Lantern, blended Photomatix Pro.
Here's a shot I snapped of the Messier 4 Globular Star Cluster on May 14, 2015 at Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown, Rhode Island, USA. Messier 4 is found in the constellation Scorpius and has a size of about 75 light years in diameter. Residing at only 7,200 light years distant, M4 is one of the two closest Globular Clusters to Earth.

As I have just booked myself some flights out to South East Asia for another 3 month trip I thought it would be fitting to upload an image I took on my last trip. These are the Petronas Towers, one of Malaysia's most iconic landmarks!
Enjoy! :)

Edited Exif to add certain details
finished the editing on the last sunday material. The final result is 121 pics, some of that are hdr (the most) and some are panoramas. in total i've shooted something like 3000 raw in a day :))))) i think if i continue in this way i will change the camera soon, but i'm learning fast, and i'm happy of the results. This one is a 9 exposures hdr. the exposures was taken thank to magiclantern (www.magiclantern.fm).
The hdr tone mapping was done in photomatix, and some adjustments are done in lightroom. i will upload the other 120 pics soon, not all in the same time, so you have the time to see everyone better (or i hope so, noticed that when i upload more than 5 photos the last has not so much visits)
Here is a stunning shot I captured on Wednesday night (June 1, 2016) of the fabulous binary star Nu Draconis. Nu Draconis, found in the constellation Draco, resides at near 100 light years distant. Both stellar components share a distance of 1900 AU and have an orbital period of around 44,000 years. I shot this at Frosty Drew Observatory in Charlestown, RI.

Managed to get out and shoot some places around Liverpool this weekend, returned to a recently visited location for sunset and low tide but annoyingly I missed the golden light by about 5 minutes! Either way I still came away with a couple of new images of Perch Rock Lighthouse and low tide.
Enjoy! :)
