Farthmore (fah’rth-moar) n. avian

“birdum imaginus existes”

A rare creature indeed and found only in its native habitat along the eastern banks of Trout Creek, in the quaintly picturesque southwestern Ontario community of St. Marys.

Its most pronounced features are the outrageous neon plume and metallic headdress. This shiny crown is unique to the male of the species and used to reflect sunlight to attract the attention of suitable females during mating season, which occurs only on the first day of April each year. This headdress can also be used as a lethal weapon while hunting. Although it has no ill effect on the Farthmore female, the laser like beam of light emitted from the beak instantly paralyzes its prey, rendering it completely helpless.

Farthmores are early risers and inhabit the uppermost branches of black-walnut trees in order to have the best view at the moment of sun-up, at which time they announce daybreak with a truly chilling song that awakens all creatures for miles around.

In the event that your travels take you to St. Marys and should you by chance encounter a Farthmore down by the creek, do not try to get its attention and most of all, do not offer to feed it. Simply walk away. Folklore tells of unfortunate souls who made eye contact with this strange bird and have never been quite the same from that point on. According to the Kawnee-Sakew legend, Farthmores represent the evil spirit of the underworld and must be avoided at all times.

Skeptics are warned to be fully prepared to suffer the consequences.

Have a Foolish Day. ha!

Me during Halloween week as a female joker

That's why I always find myself thinking, when I see a girl out there, who is all dressed-up, made-up, and has her hair done nice... Uhhh... didn't we forget something sweetie?

British Railways (ex-LMSR) Jubilee class no. 45596 'Bahamas' arrives at Oxenhope with a seaside special, madeup of surburban coaching stock, during a photo charter at the K&WVR. Monday. 7th September 2020.

I hate business suits! But I don't mind wearing a skirt and a jacket, and adding some color.

So easy to wear, and so attractive at the same time

When you spend most of your life in skirts, you get the hang of sitting in a lady-like fashion.

The contents of my make-up bag so that I am ready to dazzle clients at my skin care salon in Burlingame.

Once your ID identifies you as 54/F/Karen, it's time to start living a normal life. Wore this for my job interview today.

Kmart Drawing. February 2014.

I wish I still had a decent head of hair and I would prefer that to a boob-job any day and besides it's doesn't even appeal to me. But there are definate advantages with having to wear a wig including of course taking it off when one gets too hot but best not done in the middle of the street lol. I am amazed at how by just changing my hair style I can portray a different me and added to that of course I can change the colour of it too to suit what I am wearing. This time I am wearing one of my little black dresses, a stretchy one that grips and has a red lining which also serves as a bit of trim. As usual I don't get madeup to take my pictures, I never use flash so I just grab something when I see the light looks good and put it on. Often there is not enough time to keep changing and as you can see these three were taken together. I have given each one a heading to say what they suggest to me and yes I am all ready to go out to find the right handsome guy to suit my mood by doing a mix and match. That's what I love so much about being Jojo I can be very creative, for example I could have done a painting and changed the hair as I worked it but instead I can perform this magic in seconds in real life which is much more rewarding.

That sounds like a drink, doesn't it? "Barkeep, whip me up a Taiwan Whisk."

Okay, okay, let's just make up a recipe for it:

1 raw egg

1 oz. orange juice

.25 oz. sweet vermouth

.25 oz. ruby port

one cinnamon stick

four drops of wombat blood

a dash of Angustura bitters

Ta-da!

...

Except, okay, I know. Wombat blood isn't in season. I use the synthetic stuff.

...

Actually, you know what? Here I am, doing all the work. You do the work, jerks. Best drink recipe for a "Taiwan Whisk" in the comments earns a prize* from me.

I'm always getting more requests for photos of me in this outfit. So with the exception of Africa and Antarctica, the rest of the world has been served.

I dropped 20# without even realizing it.! When i wanted something new for my birthday, I found this dress i had bought at a thrift shop about 2 years ago, that didn't fit at the time. So by accident, i got me a pretty little birthday suit!

Such a great album, but I don't want to focus on that. If you've never seen the kungfu movie Master of the Flying Guillotine, check it out. Besides being the most crazy film ever, the soundtrack is madeup completely of krautrock. Nothing says krautrock like a kungfu movie.

When you're an authorized independent representative, of a large cosmetic company, dressing nice actualy becomes part of the job. Isn't that a dream come true. Talk about justification!

Nothing feels beeter than getting all made-up and dolled-up, and being ready to get out there for a day of fun!

I get a lot of comments from people about how much they like seeing me in this cheerleader outfit. So come Halloween season, it's not that hard to talk me into wearing it.

Finished today.

Although most people believe that the concept of 'symmetrical time' was introduced in 2005, it is in fact much older than that.

It was mentioned for the first time in a manuscript written in 1251 by a monk called Otto. Originally, 'symmetrical time' referred to the years 1000 and 2000 AD, which in Roman numerals would be perfectly symmetrical: M and MM respectively. In mediaeval times already, many projected their messianic hopes and apocalyptic fears onto these years. Looking back on the year 1000, Otto concluded that there had been no ground for these emotional responses. He predicted that nothing special would happen in the year 2000 either (criticizing those who feared the coming of an 'insectum millennii'). Rather than to get carried away by irrational expectations, people should be steadfast ('constant') and use their common sense, according to Otto.

Otto's writing was rediscovered in 1521 by a Humanist scholar who roamed the libraries of abbeys and convents in search for classical texts. He was surprised by Otto's plea for steadfastness, so very similar to the 'constantia' that was advocated by contemporary Neo-Stoics. Otto's manuscript was subsequently published in print, but no copies of that edition have been preserved.

Thus, Otto's manuscript and his views on symmetrical time were forgotten. A similar concept though was devised in 2005, this time not based on Roman numerals but on digital numbers. Returning from a voyage to Tahiti, Anna Imumi from Ohio realized that there were seven moments in a day when the time indicated on her watch was perfectly symmetrical. According to her, these moments were ideally suited for looking in a mirror or for engaging in a dialogue with someone who holds an opposite opinion. Her blog on this topic attracted a lot of attention, with a record number of 11,011 visitors on 11:11h on November 11, 2005. As a result, her site crashed and it has not been operational since.

After pushing Mty Highsiders into the Hatuma Lime Works siding, we're propelling the Van back down onto our madeup 933 tonnage at 12 minutes past 5 on the 23rd of ? :)

The black mark obscuring the Station is the waving Cap of our Guard who was into making my shot difficult.

When you're in a skirt, you think about every move you make, and learn to keep your legs together.

Seems like everyone's favorite pix of me are in my blue cheerleader outfit. So I guess I'll have to break it out and get some new pix.
