Our master bedroom was his favorite spot until Liz came home from work or being out-and-about and she'd take him downstairs to sleep in her room. The pillows we tossed on the floor from the madeup-bed seemed to alway be preferable to his own bed.

These images are experiments toward a final piece of work showing the difficulties in obtaining inner peace in our largely consumeristic society. The image on the right shows a meditative figure corrupted by needless designer products, its chakras madeup ofconsumeristic products and items. The image on the left is much more similr to my final outcome as i decided to use the blocks of colour with cut up chakras to show the chaos of modern society in a controlled manor.I also experimented with drawings of two point perspective buildings in the background/within the figure to show the built up tension that juxtposes a calm and peacefull mind.

Materials:acrylic paints, cutout magazines,black ink, red paper, white paper.
