Fresh fruit goes quickly. I love buying it in bulk because it is so much cheaper. This also means that it goes bad faster than we can eat it. So I've resolved to canning and preserving fruit. this was my first attempt at strawberry preserves and blueberry/strawberry jam. I was quite pleased. I tested the jam on a fresh peanutbutter and jam sandwhich. It was amazing!

It looks burnt, but it's a pizza made with BBQ sauce. I never thought I'd like pizza with BBQ sauce- it seemed wrong, plus usually BBQ pizza has chicken and I'm a vegetarian.
I made this pizza from scratch and used fake chicken, red onion and green pepper as toppings. It was soo good!
