My Apologies - my original post didn't meet one of the rules which states that the colors MUST makeup 80% of the image.
523 smoke pictures later ... I landed on this for our Macro Monday challenge. When I finally figured out that the thicker the candle wick, the better the smoke and that two wicks were even better I was already more than 400 pictures in with various backgrounds and lighting. To me it looks like music rising out of a horn .. a little soft jazz.

It's ok it's an empty snail shell. I got quite carried away trying various objects in ice. I was glad of the subzero temperatures as I placed them in snow where they were backlit by the low sun so I had no worries about any of them melting too soon.
Shadows cast by a toy revolutionary war cannon bought at Valley Forge, PA. Purchased while on an elementary school field trip to Philadelphia. What I experienced on that trip helped American history come alive. It seemed more real, and highlighted the greatness of America's founders, bur also the horrors of war, sickness and slavery.
For this week's #MacroMonday submission for the theme #sound, I decided to go with a "product shot." This is a 3" section of a 6" Klipsch Reference Series copper-coned woofer.
