Part of a rust encrusted spring that belongs to a spring loaded field gate bolt (total length of full spring 2 & 3/4 inches x 3/4 of an inch high. 1/2 inch diameter bolt)

A photograph of #rust which matches autumnal colours; reds, yellow, orange and browns and a small helping of spider web silk.

For this weeks theme on Macro Mondays "Contraption" a picture of an old mecanical autotimer, supposed to trigger a camera with the corresponding cable. It still works fine. The actual size is about 1 by 2 inches. HMM

The span across the 4 central bubbles edge to edge is 2.7 inches
