Can tell you that I went outside to shoot this one.

I usually take a lot of pics before getting just one decent image,

and didn't want the house to smell like the cheap seats on a charter flight during tax free shopping :-)

It was a beautiful sunny day on Cabbage Key, Florida - paradiseonearth !! - when I looked into this eye during a stroll along the beach. (zoom in - and it will look at you ;)

Each time I look at it again nowadays I can dream myself back there. A HMM to everybody here.

Wie oft ich doch darob erschrecke,

Was eine Muschel ist, was Schnecke,

Ist nach wie vor fast unbekannt.

Doch leicht kennt man sie auseinand',

wenn man genauer sie beschaut.

Ein Schneckenhaus ist aufgebaut

Stets nur aus einem einz'gen Teil,

Die Muschel hat, selbst wenn sie heil,

Der Klappen zwei! Drum ist zumeist,

Ein Schneck', was man 'ne Muschel heißt.
