This piece of wood is the top part of a wind chime we had hanging in a tree for a number of years. The chord that suspended the chimes rotted and started to disintegrate so I took it down and set it out of the way until I could get a chance to fix it. I haven’t yet so it made a good subject for texture with the weathering and fungus. The photo fits my 75mm square template.

This time (on holiday without macro lens and computer) only a smartphone picture - the best I could do. So I hope I can just add a little leafsong to today's MM gallery.

While I watch television in the evening, I do handwork and needlework and I knit. Here on this photo I decorate a sweater for upcoming Christmas holidays.
