This is a small, hard-working machine that helps run the wet mill with less water.

The soaked cherries are fed through the top, a depulper removes the outer skin, the two beans are separated, dead and hollow seeds called floaters are removed along with under ripe ones. The travelouges on Sweetmarias helped me remember / interpret most of this stuff.

There are several small mills like this on on the co-op.
