The 10p machine at Hendra Holiday's rock'n'roll arcade. The money is stacked heavily at the bottom, lulling the untrained eye into thinking it has a chance whereas the small amount at the top suggests otherwise. Take heed casual holidaymaker!
Taken outside the old Ikon and Diva nightclub on the outskirts of York. The nightclub closed down several years ago and this is the first sign that they're doing anything with the building

Not long after passing Mobile, we came to the border with Mississippi. The first town we passed near was Pascagoula, which is situated on a big river estuary (the Pascagoula River). Then later we passed Biloxi.
Today we had just 200 miles to drive between Pensacola and New Orleans, heading west along the I-10.
This took us through the bottom of Alabama, passing Mobile ... then through the bottom of Mississippi, skirting Biloxi and Gulfport. Both states edge the Gulf of Mexico ... and the cities are very large ports.
The area is very flat, and very low lying ... it was all severely devastated by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.
Students in ENGS 76: Machine Engineering built machines to navigate a simulated lunar landscape. The goal: to pick up paper balls (i.e. ice pellets), wooded rings (i.e. H2O converters), and batteries (i.e. energy sources), cross an S-bridge over a lunar valley and deposit all their gatherings into receptacles around the demonstration platform.

Fabulous chicken-rotating machine in Nong Khai, Thailand. I had a video of it in action but can't find it now.

Overall, Tokyo was very clean, but this strange corner of vending machines were all cluttered, heavily stickered over, with bits of trash in the darker corners, but they were full of strange things.
