THE SPECIAL PLAYER is a fully interactive environment. Involving a sophisticated responsive motion tracking technique, professional dancers, DJs and the public, THE SPECIAL PLAYER explores a massively disquieting conspirative narration revolutionizing the concept of augmented reality and sense of self.

An international group of artists create large scale light- and water installations, aerial suspensions, pyrotechnics, high voltage labs and more from recycled materials and electronic wizardry.
We’re starting to create a time machine for our next art project at ‘Pataphysical Studios. Guests will be invited to step into our magic portal and travel to different time periods, which we will recreate as short scenes, through a variety of audio, video, maker art and mixed media. We’re now brainstorming and prototyping ideas for this interactive art project, which we plan to build collectively in coming years. Saw this machine in a field next to the A60 between Cuckney and Whitwell.
Not sure what it is though, maybe some sort of turnip harvester!?

Last weekend I went to the Dream Machines Car, Airplane, and all things mechanical show in Half Moon Bay, CA.
I had a bit of an idea of what I wanted to photograph, but it wasn't until I saw the masses of people with cameras and tripods, even a couple medium format digital rigs that I really decided to go for it. So in an effort to be a little different, I'm going to be posting a series of black and white (almost abstract) images of the car show. These are from various vehicles that stood out and inspired me...
As far as processing goes, this was rather straight forward... cropping, conversion to B&W, and then a vignette to help highlight the focal points.
