Abandoned brick factory

The things you find out on the internet!

YZ stood for 'wise head' - hence the (faded) graphic of the owl at the top.

Someone also said if you watched the machine you could tell when the free packet was due to come out. You'd have to be pretty desperate and/or have a lot of time on your hands for the sake of one old penny's worth of "spiggy".

You're never seemingly any more than 10 metres away from a vending machine in any Japanese town or city.

Here, a man picks up his selection from a machiine in Akihabara, Tokyo.

I bought this machine 4+/- years ago. This machine does it job really well. Its not a powerful machine, really. But the quality of hardware can support 24/7 workloads & idle for the whole year. I not even think of shutting it down, even in lightning. And it pays me :(

Afterall, this machine still standing. It can survive the lightning strike few times. Only a few weeks ago, a very strong lightning strike up on my roof which cause my modem, switch, and sub-woofer died. My on-board network card also suffer the consequences. Other than that, its still up and running.

#Dogwood52 Challenge Week 15 - Creative Metal

I've tweaked my back and unable to drive do to pain meds and muscle relaxers. I didn't want to miss this weeks challenge so I have been forced to use whatever I have at home. I received this working Singer sewing machine for my 8th birthday. Originally it had a matching C clamp that you used to clamp it down at the edge of a table. That and the box are long gone.

The Breguet BR 1150 ATLANTIC procedure trainer is an almost fully equipped training cell for the training of the tactical crews of the maritime reconnaissance aircraft.

The Breguet Atlantic, also known as the BR 1150, is a maritime patrol aircraft (MPA) that was developed multinationally.

The aircraft is used for patrol flights as well as for submarine hunting.

The Breguet Atlantic is the only aircraft in the world that was built exclusively for this range of tasks from the outset, while other maritime reconnaissance aircraft are usually developed on the basis of civilian aircraft.

The machines of the German Navy are now retired, but are still in operation in other countries.

In addition to the version for the MPA task, the Bundeswehr also had the BR 1150 M equipment variant for telecommunications and electronic reconnaissance.

I had planned to go down the mountain by ropeway, but I missed it and walked down the mountain. It took about 30 minutes.

In the background is Mt. Kisokomagatake, and when there is little snow in Tateshina, everyone goes there.

The Clayton and Shuttleworth threshing machine, built in Lincoln, England in 1907, powered by steam and in use until the introduction of the Combine Harvester in the 1960s.

It was used to separate the grain from the straw in a process called "threshing" or "thrashing".

LANEVO will launch a backpack machine at the Mainframe event.

The three arms of the machine and their claws move.

Please try the demo.

You will be amazed at the dynamic arm and claw movements of the machine.

Single color version allows you to resize, and run and stop each of the three arms individually.

In the FAT version, you can also change the color of each of the five parts individually. It also includes the ability to control the speed of the claws.

Close up of the open-worm type machine head on an old mandolin. I was really undecided which image to upload to the Macro Mondays group out of the set.
