The first functional sewing project I've ever made on my own: a sewing machine cover for my precious Singer Featherweight.

This machine utilises laser engraved flexos to produce precise and excellent quality print of single lines, squares or pictures on the reel paper, sheeted it to required sizes to be further produced into soft cover exercise books, hard cover notebooks, ruled pads, etc. It is completed with mechanical paper roll lifting, rotary cross cutter, electrostatic discharger, pinions for sheeting length adjustment and automatic paper piling system. This machine can also be used as a stand alone paper sheeter. Optional items include perforating system and tab inserting system or ink marking system for seperating the paper sheets into pre-determined quantity.

This is the view of the machine head of my beloved Status Series 2 Classic. I bought mine in 2000, hand made, 4 string, 35 inch scale, graphite through neck and Status' own soap bar pickups, 18V active circuitry and walnut faced body. This is a headed rather than headless variant. Everything about this beast reeks of quality, it's a dream to play and when shoved through my Trace Elliot rig sounds pretty darned good. If only I could play it as well as an instrument of this calibre should be.
You can't tell from this angle, but te htuner for the E-string is an aftermarket Hipshot replacement whcih allows me to drop the tuning down to a low D. Handy when you play in a band with a horn section who absolutely insist on churning out arrangements in anti-social keys.

This is a manufacturing facility for automated machinery. The image was stitched from two rows of sixteen photos, and then remapped using Photoshop's Polar filter to give the fisheye effect.
This is a look at the whole Machine Shop looking aft. The Machine to the right in the picture is a 24" Lathe. These Machines are a bit on the old side, but still could perform any function you needed. Today's Machine Shop has modern CNC equipment for today's technology. I sorta miss the Machinist Trade, at times. I just don't want the bad nerve's that went along with it. Machining parts in "thousands of an inch" took a toll on me after many years of doing it.
