The problem: USB over current. USB disabled. No power power from power plug. Caused by spilling juice into the left side of the machine.

This is how my MBP looks.
I've installed a external aluminum heat-sink which matches the machine right down to the colour and material. It elevates the base of the machine a little, allowing for more air flow beneath the system. The heat-sink also has a thermal heat compound which helps to shift heat away from the underside of the system, unfortunately... it still not enough to prevent it from reaching 99°C
