Despite it's smart appearance I had just taken a ride on the this PMT dual-pupose Bristol RE and it rattled like anything but mainly because the end of one of the overhead luggage racks had come adrift and the end was waggling about.
After Midland Red took over Green Bus of Rugeley they operated buses out to Uttoxeter but the service later passed to Potteries and for a while in the Eighties there was a service from Stafford all the way to Cheadle. At that garage as well as short Leopards there was the odd dual-purpose Bristol RE like 211.
