"Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts." - from Our Mutual Friend by Charles Dickens
The Museum für Moderne Kunst (MMK) in Frankfurt was founded in 1981. The initiators are the Marburg art and architecture theorist Heinrich Klotz and the theatre and art critic Peter Iden. The museum building was designed by Viennese architect Hans Hollein and opened in 1991. Peter Iden drew up the museum's spatial programme.
Hans Hollein's design of the Museum für Moderne Kunst is based on the approach that there can be no neutral space in a museum, "but only characteristic spaces of different dimensions (and their development), with which the work of art enters into a dialectic - in mutual potentiation".
The height of the three-storey building is adapted to its surroundings and is characterised by its "triangular shape" and façade design. It is also jokingly referred to as a "piece of cake". The building houses three main levels for exhibitions and an administration area on the mezzanine floor.

To my Flickr community friends. In this moment of darkness, I think of you. We will get through this together, with mutual support. A commentor and group administrator, Ron Masters below, reminds me of this quote by Albert Camus “Au milieu de l'hiver, j'ai découvert en moi un invincible été.”, so apt and heart warming. And when spring returns, listen to Félix Leclerc's Hymne au Printemps, www.youtube.com/watch?v=og6-KgMYtdA.
Since do not ever in the same way and we will see the truth for fragments and from different angles of view, the rule of our conduct is mutual tolerance. Conscience is not the same for everyone. So, while it is a good guide for individual conduct, the imposition of such action at all would be an intolerable interference in freedom of conscience of each.

Shot with the Olympus E-M1 on the streets of the Rive Gauche, Paris.
I was sitting out at a sidewalk cafe in Paris when I spotted a group of street photographers making their shots. I jumped up and chased after them until we were all taking shots of one another. I engaged in a conversation with this woman who said her group is from Sweden and they are doing group street photography.
I told her she could look for me on Flickr. Let's see if she does.
Nature promotes mutualism. The flower nourishes the bee. The river waters quench the thirst of all living beings. And trees provide a welcoming home to so many birds and animals. There is a rhythm to this togetherness.

Young couple dancing by the window. I don’t know the names of these people, I know that they don’t smoke or drink alcohol ... and they’ll have a wedding soon. The photo was taken during the celebration of the anniversary in the Moscow restaurant.
Under the phrase "harmonious couple", many understand approximately one thing: partners fit each other, have a great relationship, in the end, look good next to each other. But all this does not fully reflect the essence of the concept.
According to scientists, there are five aspects that define a wonderful union and are present in a relationship.
Mutual respect. This is one of the fundamental conditions for a strong union of a man and a woman. If one partner is not ready or does not want to accept the other as he is, accept his shortcomings and features, a good family will not work.
The desire to speak frankly with a partner. According to psychologists, the ability to find common topics of conversation, to interest another in something is an important condition. But it is even more important to be able and ready to listen and hear a loved one. Pretending that you are interested in discussing a topic is one of the types of lies and will not lead to anything good.
Feel and be one team. This is expressed in the distribution of responsibilities around the house, and sincere care for each other, and in the feeling of oneself as a whole. Remember the musketeers' motto: "One for all and all for one"? Something like this is tacitly in the relationship of spouses.
Sense of humor. In a harmonious relationship, it is good not only to admire each other's skills, but also to joke fun about shortcomings, it is easy and positive to experience troubles.
Confidence. In a couple where there is no absolute trust in each other, there is no happy future. Doubt can kill even the greatest love.
Ants (Formica sp?) tending hoppers (Publilia) on Goldenrod. The hoppers produce honeydew, which the ants feed on, so they protect the hoppers in a relationship called mutualism. A 3-image, handheld stack.

We had a brilliant 15 minute stranger's chat about life, the universe and troubled humans who abuse their dogs. His — I wish I could remember their names — had been beaten, caged and neglected, to put it mildly.
Here, a minute or so into our chat, the dog was clearly anxious and unsure, so I backed off a step and did all the usual things to tell him I was no threat. I've another pic a bit later where he'd relaxed. You'll see the difference when I upload that one, which I love.
I also remember vividly how I felt whilst he shared what a difference they'd made to each other's lives. It still touches me now.
A great bloke I so hope to bump into again :-)
