These were so pretty , they where red when closed but when they opened up fully they turned a reddish orange. They had a glossy shine to them as well. So beautiful

OK, everyone, I have decided to make this the last mushroom image for this Autumn (unless something REALLY exciting turns up). I can already hear the cheering! Sorry if this has bored you, but I follow my passions and this time it was mushrooms - LOL

Mushrooms on the way to the waterfall Nideck!

Mushrooms are very delicate things, they do not last, some have a life span of less than a day others may survive one week, and a group of tougher mushrooms may last months but they have a tough woody texture.

In winter light

I think I'll pass.

So I went to find my band of lowlands chamois again, and luckily I saw two of them, in spite of people walking their dogs in the area plus the biggest nuisance of them all, offroad mountain bikers. I'd gladly prepare a purple mushroom dish for these jerks 👿.

Anyway, have a wonderful and sunny Sunday everybody!

I found this pair of mushrooms in Lainzer Tiergarten.

One from my Pukaskwa mushroom collection
