Ms. Lucie Fur we think was born sometime in October 2010. We're not sure, since she was abandoned by her biological mother, who carried her to a neighbour, and dumped her. The neighbour, called a friend, who hand-raised the kitten until she was weaned, and that's where I took over.
When Lucie was a kitten, she used to scratch us a lot, her behaviour was quite feral. She has learned that her teeth/claws are sharp, and she isn't supposed to break the skin.. but there are still occasional accidents, like when she's having a bath. :s

"There isn’t a stronger case for neighborhood bond than in the heart of our neighborhood matriarch, Ms. Caroline.
...
This urban defense has been one of immense personal change and only realized through the loving people of Ashe Avenue, through their gracious hearts and blindness to accept. In people who have the least, I have found the most."
