WEEK 32.1 – Columbus Kroger, Set II
As we make our way back outdoors now, here's one final shot of the store's façade, a close-up view of the Kroger logo in the center of the building. I was proud of how this pic turned out! Below the Kroger logo (and its tan stucco façade, installed in the 2014 remodel of the store), you can see the original Delchamps brickwork and windows, as well as no fewer than three gas lamps, which are hallmarks of former Delchamps Super Stores. Glad to see those survived the remodel here!
The entryway setup isn't shown too well in any of my photos (either here or in Greenville), but while I'm thinking about it, I figured I'd try my best to explain: there's a set of doors on both sides of the facade, at a diagonal angle to the parking lot. Both sets of doors function as both entrances and exits, and enter straight into the salesfloor; there is no vestibule or additional set of doors you must pass through upon entering the building. Consequently, the cart storage space seems small, and it's completely open to the salesfloor.

An Apple //e loading games from the Apple Game Server Online.
The iPad is connected to the audio input of the Apple //e. Turn the Apple //e on and press CONTROL+RESET. At the prompt type LOAD and press Return. On the iPad select the game audio file and press play. The game will automatically transfer and start on the Apple II
For the final Walmart to be featured in my first ever all-Walmart week, we're taking another quick look at the Corinth Mississippi location, a store for which I have all of two photos previously uploaded! County records show this was built in 1993, but I still don't trust records for the Corinth area, especially since they were also showing the deeds here dated 1994. I would tend to think construction started on this Walmart more like in 1994 or even well into '95, but I'm not going to trust my memory on that either!

I was never really happy with the Defense and Movement systems I built for the MS-11 frames when I created them. I'm not sure I had the bricks or the vision to put together something better. I do now. I also made some color changes to make the Systems more distinct.
