"Oh Mister Blue Sky,
Please tell us why
You had to hide away for so long (so long)
Where did we go wrong?
Hey there Mister Blue,
We're so pleased to be with you
Look around, see what you do
Everybody smiles at you..."
- Electric Light Orchestra (E.L.O.)
I thought I would post something vastly different from the regular stuff, and share a photo reflective of my own personal mood currently.
This photo is the latest from my personal "Psycheography" project, and was my tribute to welcome the Spring season. I have never been happier to see Winter conclude, particularly in the metaphorical sense. Ironically, this photo was captured on the very last day of Winter at Solstice Park in Seattle.
If you were in Seattle that day, you remember this day well. You were very likely out and about that day, soaking in the sunshine, capturing your own images, and happily accepting (or contributing to) the traffic congesting the scenic routes all around the city. It was just a gorgeous day to be outside, alive, and grateful.

- So for this photo i had to do some thinking. I knew what i wanted, but i had no idea how to shoot it. For a while i thought it would be impossible to do easily. My roommate came home to find me staring blankly and whispering quietly to the wall and thought there was something wrong with me.
{2013 Update} - The originally uploaded 2008 version of this photo was texture heavy and incorporated an editing flaw that I had corrected ages ago, but never re-uploaded. This newer version replaces the older one without the flaw, textures, and with updated color toning.

Remembering yesterday, a cold, but blue cloudless sky in November. The last remaining leaves caught in the late Autumn sunlight. Today, as been a grey misty miserable day, with continual rain. The changeable and typical unpredictability of the British weather.

Florida is a broad forest of replica mountains and castles. This one, Expedition Mt. Everest, happens to be my favorite ride amongst them.
I rode that mountain till I was dizzy.

Tried to get a few shots last night at the windmill, but the light was quite harsh and too much contrast....

- by the time this photo was taken i had been up for the last 20 hours and had already been in line at best buy for 2 hours. i figured if i was already going to be up i had ample opportunity to get some work done and more reason to avoid doing my homework.

- I just got Lightroom and i sat down with a friend, some tweaking was done and this alternate and ultimately better version of the previous photo was created. I really love it cause it looks like a painting and it's very neutral and substantially colder than the other version.

Used as an explosive scene during another regurgitation from Michael Bay's infamous Transformers movies, the silos are still standing. However it's now all but impossible to cross from the left structure to the right now that the bridges have been demolished.
Not impossible...just not as easy.

The years that passed in this place went by really fast. We had a lot of fun, but today begins the exodus. Hopefully it's a step forward.
