I saw plenty a #Quadrantids this year, but I was only able to capture one of them. I probably wouldve been able to capture a few more Quadrantids if I had used a wide-angle lens SMH, Of course, I couldve added a bunch more falling stars everywhere, but I think that is cheating.

Whenever I need to take an uplifting photograph then I head down to Selfridges. Today the sun was out and shinning. There had been overnight rain and this left a few puddles around. This is one of my favourite places to take a photograph and it was a beautiful day.
Coloured houses across a village green,the setting was perfect,with the pastel shades of the houses and a clear blue sky with a few white fluffy clouds.However the light on the houses wasn't at it's best,so I had to dabble with the post processing ... to best emphasis and exaggerate the colours
It lets you know you are not alone in the universe.

Yes,blue sky between the days of rain here at Blaise Castle,near Bristol. Built in 1766, the Gothic style castle,is on the 650 acre Blaise Estate.The castle was in fact a folly used as a summer house and was inhabited well into the 20th century with sumptious internal decoration.The building is now a tourist attraction open to the public.

- It was five in the morning and we had just walked out of guyHop to a city blanketed in thick fog. Mira had finally shed her wrapping paper and was clutching the safety light we had swiped just hours before. We stopped to take photos because we knew it was the last time we'd be together for a while.

It's not easy holding on to your favorite photo from your first trip to New York for two solid years. But I'm not one to flood my stream with the same photo again and again. Plus I thought this one could use a bit more attention. Something I could not pin down until recently.
Since this is a stitch, a %100 crop on the original is sharp enough to make out the observation deck at the Empire State Building, which is what I used to gauge the scale of the foreground balloon.
Okay so this is me. A Selfie taken just before I am due to go for a long cycle. It sort of captures the mood of the morning when I opened the blinds to see that it's a sunny day. It's taken with my iPhone and meant as a bit of fun! ;-)) Let's hope there'll be more days like this!
