A view from the top of Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands. I climbed Ben Nevis on the second day of my first visit to the Scottish Highlands. It was the beginning of my love affair with Scotland. Since that day I want the big view from on high.

Thick cloud was swelling around the fells summit. The drama of it, overhead was stunning, and slightly intimidating. I had to capture it, and to do it justice I stitched the shot together as a panorama. Hopefully you think I have done it justice. Enjoy.
Schwabacher's Landing on the Snake River is one of the best kept secrets of Grand Teton National Park. You will not find it if you are not looking for it. The road leading to it becomes dirt for a short distance. From the parking lot, follow the short trail to see all it has to offer.
This place between Ruhpolding and Reit im Winkl is really called "Little Canada" (Klein-Kanada). I guess I don´t need to explain it further. Amazing mood yesterday.
Sadly, the weather became misting, fogging with heavy rain, our uphill to the Snowndon mountains wasn't a success event.
Old photo I took a few years ago when I stayed in a beautiful campsite in Brienz, Switzerland. It was one of the first shots I took with my a6000 camera.
before going off to Egypt for a 2 week dive holiday (this time no photography), a last post from Iceland.
On the first day we had fantastic weather, that turned out to be one of two great days. On this day I took ca 500 pictures, with many of them worth posting.
In this shot some typical iceland colors like the red mountain, that must have vulcanic origin.
