la fotocamera, dopo un intervento miracoloso effettuato a Salisburgo nelle prime ore del mattino del 27 (il 25 e il 26 dicembre mi sono consumato nell'attesa della riapertura dei negozi) ha ricominciato a funzionare ...
questo è uno degli scatti di quella giornata...
... e in lontananza, sulle ali di un vento leggero, la colonna sonora di Shreck ...

We had been at the Canmore Nordic Centre and decided to take a ride around Quarry Lake on our way back to the valley. I probably stopped more than a dozen times to take pictures of the fall colours and the reflections on the lake.
a kind of Icelandic "pagan baptism" here at the very secluded Svartifoss (black waterfall) waterfall which can only be reached after a 1.5 km hike at Skaftafell mountain range. A true wonder of nature.

poi, così come per la luce che piano piano si affievoliva,
mi sono ritrovato da solo,
in una silenziosa e fredda quiete ...
... e allora ...
ho smesso di fotografare
e ho iniziato a vedere ...

Dolomiti - L'ora blu alle Cinque Torri.
Ho passato molte ore, serali, notturne e alle prime luci dell'alba, nei pressi delle Cinque Torri ...
una fotografia non potrà mai rendere le sensazioni che prova una persona sola, lassù, in quei momenti ...
il silenzio parla a volte con lieve soffio di vento sul collo...
le stelle ammiccano ...
e pare lo stiano facendo solo ed esclusivamente per te ...
non sai più se fotografare o metterti lì buono buono a goderti lo spettacolo ...
e pensare, come tanti altri hanno già fatto di fronte a questo prodigio ...
le luci dei rifugi circostanti paiono volerti rassicurare quando un velo di sgomento, di fronte a tutta questa grandezza, sembra prenderti ...
l'impressione di essere solo, ma allo stesso tempo piccolissima parte di qualcosa di unico, di inspiegabile, di assoluto,
ti permea ...
e ti avvolge come una morbida sciarpa avvolta intorno al tuo collo dalla mamma nei giorni freddi di inverno ...
e da queste sensazioni,
da questi sentimenti,
non vorresti staccarti più ...
... ad acque tranquille mi conduce ...
nel mare agitato della vita alcuni luoghi ci riportano all'essenza delle cose,
delle cose importanti,
delle cose vere,
rimuovendo, con la loro quieta e serena bellezza,
affanni, timori e paure...

More clouded shots but this time with a sun. On a very variable day, at the end of it the sun suddenly came out, offering some great images of this icelandic landscape, and also in other places the landscape turned nito gold.
