Erica Mou, nome d’arte di Erica Musci (classe 1990), è una delle più interessanti cantautrici italiane. A diciassette anni comincia a proporre le proprie composizioni ai maggiori concorsi di canzone d’autore italiani, facendo incetta di premi. Nel 2011 pubblica l’album E’ prodotto dall’islandese Valgeir Sigurdsson per l’etichetta Sugar di Caterina Caselli. Il disco contiene anche la cover di Don’t stop, colonna sonora dello spot istituzionale Eni. Nel 2012 partecipa al Festival di Sanremo nella sezione giovani vincendo il premio della critica Mia Martini e il Premio Sala Stampa Radio Tv con la sua composizione Nella vasca da bagno del tempo (arrangiata da Davide Rossi) che le vale anche il Premio Lunezia per il miglior testo. A soli 25 anni la musicista pugliese ha già all’attivo un’intensissima attività live (in Italia ma anche in Brasile, Stati Uniti, Ungheria, Inghilterra, Germania, Belgio, Francia). Contro le onde, il suo ultimo disco, vede la produzione artistica di Boosta e contiene Dove cadono i fulmini, brano scelto da Rocco Papaleo per la colonna sonora del suo ultimo film, Una piccola impresa meridionale. Il brano viene candidato al David di Donatello 2014 nella categoria Migliore Canzone Originale. In autunno 2015 esce il nuovo atteso disco Tienimi il posto, con la distribuzione di Artist First.
