I'm starting an icon of St. Francis and am trying something I learned on the internet. I printed out the picture I wanted to use in reverse, and then glued it to my wooden substrate with Mod Podge. The next day, I used a damp cloth to rub off the paper and uncovered the picture underneath. We'll see how this works.

Finished grouting it this week. I'm waiting for it to dry good so I can seal it and then hang it on the fence where it belongs.
I'm leaving for a week to leave my youngest son at Texas A&M and then visit my daughter, who's expecting my first grandson. What a bag of mixed blessings!

Strips of stained glass on the outside with tempered glass filling in. I started with a green painted frame, put gold glitter on it and then lay the tg on top. When I was done, I painted the grout in gold acrylic paint to finish it off.
