Well worth a visit of you want to spend five minutes of sillyness!

Coming out of Eric Idle's one-man show last night at the Edinburgh Playhouse, quick handheld snap with the phone as we left the theatre.

An excellent evening with a good chum - as we're both lifelong Monty Python fans we had been looking forward to this show. And yes, some singing was involved, certain philosophers were invoked!

Well, I know this isn't the best..but I did try. :) I used to watch Monty Python all the time back when I was younger..haven't seen anything in ages now..but this was fun. :D Oh, I didn't have all of the necessary items that are really in the real photo..so I compromised, lol. :D

those Monty Python lovers amongst you will remember the Castle of Aaargh :D

"Most actors have their overacting moments. But there are those few special snowflakes who turned it into pure brilliance. Nic Cage, Shatner, Nic Cage, Chris Tucker, Nic Cage, Samurai Cop, Nic Cage and so on. Build any of these overacting moments. Except for Tommy Wiseau - he gets enough credit for it as it is already. Consider focusing on silly facial expressions, go crazy. "

This one is from Monty Python film And For Now, Something Completely Different: The famous Self-Defense against Fresh Fruit scene, with John Cleese shouting at Eric Idle's face about maniacs with loganberries.

Six minutes after sunset.

Castle Stalker picturesquely set on a tidal islet on Loch Laich, an inlet off Loch Linnhe. It is about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-east of Port Appin, Argyll, Scotland, and is visible from the A828 road about mid-way between Oban and Glen Coe.

In recent times, the castle was brought to fame by the Monty Python team, appearing in their film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Early 14th century castle in Scotland used in a Monty Python movie.

Once again some 'interesting' street art ruined by senseless graffiti scrawled over the top of it. But perhaps that's the idea of graffiti

When I saw these people smiling like that immediately reminded me of Monty Python's sketch "The funniest joke in the world." Apparently, no one died this time.

Quando vi essas pessoas sorrindo desse jeito, imediatamente me lembrei daquela esquete do Monty Python "A piada mais engraçada do mundo". Aparentemente, ninguém morreu dessa vez.

Couldn't help but think of the swamp castle scene in Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail. These are actually two different species of egret, a great egret on the right, and what I assume is a snowy egret on the left.

This shot reminded me of one of my favorite movies, Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

"Follow! But! follow only if ye be men of valor, for the entrance to this cave is guarded by a creature so foul, so cruel that no man yet has fought with it and lived! Bones of full fifty men lie strewn about its lair. So, brave knights, if you do doubt your courage or your strength, come no further, for death awaits you all with nasty big pointy teeth."

Wishing everyone a Happy Sliders Sunday! ...minus any bunny bites : )
