As I said in my earlier post, I got to photograph something I have never photographed before...A NASCAR Race! I went over to Dover Delaware with my friend and fellow Flickr-ite Darren Barnes to photograph the Dover 400. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to watch a race!
This is the Dover Monster Monument breaking out of the concrete with a full-scale stock car in his hand. This monument stands 46 ft tall.
Anyone that didn't see this coming doesn't know me very well.
I like her much better with crystal hair than fiber hair.

The Sand Motor is an innovative method for coastal protection. It is a huge volume of sand that has been applied along the coast of the province South-Holland at the city of Monster in 2011. Wind, waves and currents will spread the sand naturally along of South-Holland coastline. It's like building with nature. The Sand Motor will gradually change in shape and will eventually befully incorporated into the dunes and the beach. The coast will be broader and safer.

Yes this is a Stretch Monster head on a Pilsbury Dough Boy body!
I wish it was dark green like the original Stretch Monster.
But I love this idea.... I usually make my customs. But I couldn't pass this up !
And the Stretch Monster head is a hard find.
I loved my Stretch Monster back in the day. Wish I had kept the head of my original.

Interesting Facts
The Gila monster is a species of venomous lizard native to the Southwestern United States and the northwestern Mexican state of Sonora. It is a heavy, typically slow-moving reptile, up to 24” long, and is the only venomous lizard native to the United States.
Not all monsters are scary.
They are: Neo Blythe Mandy Cotton Candy, Middie Blythe Yellow Marshmallow, and a Littlest Pet Shop Petite Blythe. The pink crocheted monster was a gift I received in a swap a few years ago. Day 29 of 31 Days of Halloween.

Edit-Haha yes I do in fact know my eyebrows aren't symmetrical. If you haven't noticed in my previous photos my entire face isn't symmetrical. I can't change my bone structure sorry :P

The Sand Motor will gradually change in shape and will eventually befully incorporated into the dunes and the beach. The coast will be broader and safer.

Here are two of the add on packs, the Bee and 3 eyed Ghoul. I love both of these. Eventually I'll have enough parts to display all of them at once, instead of alternating. Well when the extra torso's I paid stupid money for arrive I will.
The wings sit well for both bee and dragon, the glasses slip a little on the bee, but if you push them into her hair, they're ok. No complaints at all other than those little nit picks. I love the details, like the dots in the bees eyes to look like compound eyes, and the third eye on the ghoul isn't just painted on, the shapes molded on like her regular eyes. Wigs just need a wash in cold water, condition, then I brushed through some anti frizz serum. The more you play with these wigs I've found, the less frizzy they get. The bee's I just washed, it was fine, needed nothing, triclops I hit with the flat iron on VERY low. Skeletons I straightened but it turned out crap, so reroot. I've ordered more of these dolls anyway so some I'll keep stock, the others I'll unleash whatever creative desires my heart holds!
Brilliant dolls, can't recommend them enough!

The ruins of the original palace lies beneath the present Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, Denmark. According to an old legend, monsters occupy that area. The staff at the palace decided to have some fun and decorate it with various types of monsters to amuse visitors.
When butterfly season is in the air, we can see a variety of worms including this hairy monster.
We call this in our Cebuano language as "Basol". Do not get you skin touch those hair as it can cause itchiness.
Monster Man
According to most of the myths, the monster man was part mole and part snail. He possessed very poor eyesight , could turn his head a full 360 degrees. and used his hairs to feel his way round. No one knows for sure how old or where he came from. Some say he came out of a planting field in Eastern Long Island, New York in the late 1800’s He was attracted to the sounds of a garden party. He loved to feel the vibrations from music and laughter. He became a hideous party crasher, sneaking into weddings disguised as one of the guests. No one ever questioned him out of fear of his monstrous complexion or the possibility of insulting some distant relative they were unaware of.
