Good luck Duduá!
Monster and Washer Woman Towers are eroding monoliths of Wingate Sandstone rising 1400 feet (426 m) above the White Rim in Canyonlands National Park. When viewed from the north or south Washer Woman looks like its namesake with an arch formed by the "arms." The towers are backed by the Island in the Sky, a high plateau partially obscured here by an oncoming snow squall.
The White Rim Sandstone in the foreground is undercut by the Middle Fork of Buck Canyon. Recent precipitation has partially filled a pothole providing a mirror reflecting Monster and Washer Woman.
This week we experienced a Level 3 thunderstorm situation in Germany, and the strongest supercell happened to sweep across our region. As beautiful as this cloud may seem, its power was truly destructive. Our city of Kassel suffered greatly from the intense rain and hail, which were unlike anything I've experienced before.

Teaching M some basic sewing. He did the pattern, a bunch of the backstitching, stuffing, and eyes/mouth. Serious fun. Thank you to Craft magazine for some inspiration: www.craftzine.com/

A monster lives in my pool. I don’t know how it got there. It only comes out at night.
I first saw it when I went for a swim one night. There it was, lurking in the corner. I was scared witless. I ran away screaming. I did not call the police. Who would believe me?
One morning, I awoke to find my glasses on the back porch. The glasses I had lost in the swimming pool. Somebody had placed a flower beside my glasses.
Later that same day, I left some biscuits by the poolside. Nobody touched them during the day. In the morning, they were gone.
This all happened some weeks ago.
Now I lie awake at night, listening. Waiting and listening in the dark. I like listening in the dark. It’s wonderfully relaxing, to listen in the dark. Waiting for the monster.
I hear the garden door open, gently. I hear naked, wet feet tiptoe towards the kitchen. I hear the fridge door open. I hear the satisfying sound of munching. Isn’t it wonderful?
At night, I don’t bother locking my front door anymore. You’d have to be crazy to break into my house. I have a monster living in my pool. It's in the kitchen right now.

Moderate safety level so I don't scare kiddies and grandma's.
The monster in the pool: Kangsom
(Kangsom is not a monster in real life, let me assure you, she is a very nice person. We’re just versatile).

A scary and weather ravaged monster found in Worthing way back in 2014. Taken on a Canon EOS 5D original & EF 80-200mm f/2.8L - 1/180 sec @ f/8.0 & ISO 160
A tafoni sea monster, with its sea lion 'mohawk', rises from the depths off Hornby Island, British Columbia. This is an unaltered photo and not an April Fool's joke 😀. In a previous version the nose and mouth were obscured by another sea lion. Tafoni results from a geological process called honeycomb weathering.

I cruised up 2 Gila monsters back to back last august for my birthday! I can’t even explain how excited I was. Such a beautiful reptile!
The feature article in the January 1977 issue of Trains magazine was Jay Potter’s The Monsters of Mingo Junction, which highlighted Conrail’s assignment of its six-axle Alco Centuries to ore service centered around Mingo Junction, Ohio. Although Mingo Junction was well over 300 miles from my home turf, and a little out of my range at the time, it was immediately added to my bucket list. A year and a half later, a phone call from a college buddy who had already graduated ended up being a planning session for a long weekend in Mingo Junction. By August 1978, many of Conrail’s 32 C628’s, 27 C630’s, and 15 C636’s were retired and in dead lines at Collinwood or Altoona, but some still had a little life left. Here one of the largest, a C636, catches some morning sun, while an SD45 lays over two stalls away, Although the big EMD’s initially drew better assignments than the Alco’s, the fuel guzzlers didn’t last much longer than the Centuries.
This linocut is one of eight that I'm working on that will be published in Noel Sloboda's "Our Rarer Monsters" in 2012. The publisher is sunnyoutside press.

Searles Sea Tours run unique and exciting seal safaris and coastal trips from the beach at Hunstanton. The business dates back to 1929 when Geoffrey Searle built a speedboat and took holiday makers on trips which proved very popular. Over the years various boats have been used including after the war (when trips ceased to be run) two amphibious landing crafts obtain from the War Department. It wasn't until 2001 that The Wash Monster (“Wiley”) was added to the fleet. 2013 saw Wiley get a companion in the form of “Wizzy”, The Wash Monster II. These vehicles known as LARCV's (Lighter Amphibious Resupply Cargo vessels) were originally designed for use in Vietnam by the American Marines and can travel up to 13mph on sand and 8 knots in water. The name came about because of the sharks head (just noticeable under the ramp) painted on the craft by the US Marines during the conflict in the Far East.

My third beast for the LEGO Kaiju Monster Inspiration series.
I named it VenomTentacle, because he has venomous spikes on his tentacles.
