Sadly, on 13th November Molly, age 7 months, ran onto a road and was killed. Molly was the littlest dog with the biggest personality. She made such an impression on all who met her. She will be sadly missed by her owner and children.
No Mollies were harmed during the photoshoot.

*[The back-story: Molly Hatchet is a very patriotic band
with strong ties to the USA Military. They always mention
the sacrifices of our men. 2 Veterans came on stage and
presented this flag to the band as a form of thanks. The
band was very touched, thanked the Vets with tears in their
eyes, and then recited: the pledge of allegiance to the flag.]
*[On a personal note: I thanked this lead singer while waiting
on the customs-line, getting off the ship. A very firm handshake,
kind smile, and a warm, lovely man! All of the Legends were
patriotic! Many wore US flags during their shows. I must say the
expression this band uses with Veteran Respect; "Hell Yeah!"]

Starting unit 3 of art, am very uninspired! Decided to paint a portrait of my best friend Molly. Undecided about this. :)
Back in 2012, I commissioned Peter Moorman to create a 4” x 4” canvas miniature of Zoe Bear, which I shared with you at the time and which now appears below in the first comment. This time Peter crafted one for Molly, and I hope you love it as much as I do. If you do, perhaps you would consider asking him to make one for you, too.
It was painted on canvas, then varnished to protect it. It came with and resides on a plain wooden stand, but I wanted to present it to you framed in black. Peter lives in the Netherlands but has an Etsy page, and he ships all over the world. Peter was delightful to work with again, remaining quick to reply to e-mails and attentive to my comments as he worked through various sketches until he arrived at the one he knew I'd love, which so nicely captures Molly’s happy personality. In fact, this portrait is more realistic than most of his more whimsical, cartoon-like creations but more stylistic than Zoe Bear's because Molly's fur just lent itself to that treatment. Ms Molly is a real sweetheart.
After Mr Kind Monk died both Blondie
and Ms Molly moved to the jungle across
the swamp from the nuns place. During the
night they stay inside a crumbling building !
Same decaying building Mama stayed in with
her Mom, before moving to The Dog Palace ;-)
Nurse nun feeds them every morning and
will be giving Blondie his medications too.
We're very grateful 2 those who donate and
help us with this crazy jungle dog rescue.
Ms Nina helps out every month with
her dog, The Monkey, an internet star.
Perfesser_Bear has adopted Blondie
& sends funds every month for his care.
Byron S does his part every month and
sends funds for the general population.
I know there is others that help out
when-ever you can and your help
is also greatly appreciated too.
If anyone of you would like to adopt Ms Molly
as your internet jungle dog that would be a
beautiful thing, She is such a sweetheart ;-)
