Play date with a friend, and as the weather is unpredictable and not particularly hot, I thought I'd try the 50's look from Vogue 2396 (OOP).

My 3 DD's have their dance recital this morning, and then we're off to the park for a picnic to celebrate Father's Day. Don't worry - I'll change!

Sitting in my garden this lovely morning before tearing off like a madwoman to get through my errands list. The lavender on my left is so fragrant that I just want to sit here and breathe it in.

Working in the garden today! RTW tee and the skirt is a shortened version of Vogue 1093, repeated from MMJ Day 10.
This is the 2nd outfit I've had on today. I was all me-made with my green linen skirt, my mustard linen jacket (Vogue 2923) and the top I'm wearing, but I spilt coffee on it all. So I had to change! The only thing that's me-made in this photo is Simplicity 4076 aka the top.

My husband's birthday is on the 14th. We celebrated tonight because we were able to get a babysitter. Ate lots of Mexican food, drank margaritas and walked in the park. It was great!
Look, I'm wearing 4" heels and am still much shorter than he is in bare feet.
