Ok.... Again another low key and strong red colours... Hope my next photos I will be free of this streak.
The skull is 7cm tall (just inside MM size rules), I've posed the full body skeleton to looks like it was trying to grab the cameras lens (i will post a behind camera photo later) the skull has those red LEDs in the eyes sockets and I've blown cigarette smoke to make the "mist" effect.
Zoom in to see nice sharp details.

Macro Mondays theme januari 14th: Hobby
Besides hobbies like photographing, traveling, reading, cooking and eating I like to make (and drink) Limoncello. This is an Italian drink based on lemon combined with loads (!!) of sugar.
It is actually quite simple to make:
- drown lemon peel in pure (95%) alcohol for a couple of weeks
- make sugarwater
- mix together
- and if you have patience let it stand for another few days
The picture is the phase in which the lemon peel is floating in the alcohol. It is actually ready for the next fase, but first I wanted to make this picture :-).
A late submission to macro mondays. The only tag I could think of that I had handy! I had a few other ideas for this topic but none of them panned out.

These are a few pieces of a broken ceramic fruit bowl. Although only a small part of the bowl is damaged it's such a complicated maze of interwoven tube-shaped components I think it is beyond repair.
During the months of November to March a colony of Grey Seals come onto the beach at Horsey, to breed. This is one of the few accessible mainland Grey Seal breeding sites in the UK. Grey Seals are one of the largest mammals and around half of the world's population are found in Britain, so the Horsey Colony is therefore one of the best sites in the world to see seal pups. This stretch of east coast is part of the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is well known for its scenery and wildlife.
