Mother and Albino brown whitetail fawn. My wife and I are so blessed to live with such beautiful creatures of God. We have lived here for 14 years and have never seen an Albino whitetail with a brown fawn. It is a breathtaking sight. The mothers love knows no color. We think she might have a white fawn also. We are keeping our fingers crossed for that.

These are the days of miracle and wonder
This is the long distance call
The way the camera follows us in slo-mo
The way we look to us all
The way we look to a distant constellation
That's dying in a corner of the sky
These are the days of miracle and wonder
And don't cry baby, don't cry, don't cry
from boy in the bubble paul simon ( selected lyrics )
This man is a veteran of the pivotal battle of the closing days of WWII that Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower called the "Miracle of Remagen."
On March 7, 1945, advance elements of the 9th U.S. Armored Division captured the Ludendorrf Railway Bridge in Remagen, Germany -- the last bridge across the Rhine river to remain standing as allied forces advanced toward Berlin. Despite desperate German efforts to demolish the bridge to stall the allied advance, the bridge was taken by American forces -- a victory that was credited with shortening the war by about two months, saving untold lives in the process.
This photo was taken at the site where the bridge used to stand, during a ceremony to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the battle. The ceremony was attended by both German and American veterans.

It's a miracle that this tree can survive on a windy exposed ridge in the Sierra Mountains of California, growing out of a crack in this boulder.

Robert Prior-Pitt avoided religious drama, preferring to explore the spiritual depths of secular works by producing them in a religious setting – he was doing West Side Story in the nave at the time. But he’d made an exception on reading the script of the Miracle. And he was also fascinated by Periphery 63 and our ambitions. In fact, Robert and I had grown remarkably close through our correspondence and a couple of visits I’d made, one with Lynn.
Everyone arrived on Friday night and were lodged by cathedral people. Lynn and I had a meal at The Bridge with Robert and his wife, Pauline. Next morning we all assembled at 7.30am for a rehearsal – boy, what commitment! We were performing the play in the 'Porch', the area between the ruins and the new building. We did one performance at a specific time that had been advertised in cathedral literature, and chairs were laid out for that, and tickets were sold. But we then did more performances that were truer to the medieval style, with passers-by watching for a while and then moving on. In the photo Salatin (in yellow) is summoning Satan. The people behind him aren't a Chorus – they are spectators. Talk about getting close to your audience!
We all had a ‘cast feast’ in The Bridge before we made our farewells. Sad because the tour was over, but swearing that this wasn’t the end. Robert and I certainly intended to meet again, and there was even talk of him and Pauline visiting us on Merseyside. Lynn and I headed for my home in Cookley, wondering about our future. We only had a few days before she left on her Soviet trip, and then straight home to the States. I knew I didn’t want to lose Lynn, but Chicago was a long, long way away.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - A West Virginia woman was being transferred to the Cleveland Clinic after walking the line between life and death. Doctors are calling Val Thomas a medical miracle. They said they can't explain how she is alive. They said Thomas suffered two heart attacks and had no brain waves for more than 17 hours. At about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, her heart stopped and she had no pulse. A respiratory machine kept her breathing and rigor mortis had set in, doctors said. "Her skin had already started to harden and her fingers curled. Death had set in," said son Jim Thomas.
Doctors put Thomas on a special machine which induces hypothermia. The treatment involves lowering the body temperature for up to 24 hours before warming a patient up. After that procedure, her heart stopped again. "She had no neurological function," said Dr. Kevin Eggleston. Her family said goodbye and doctors removed all the tubes. However, Thomas was kept on a ventilator a little while longer as an organ donor issue was discussed. Ten minutes later the woman woke up and started talking. "She (nurse) said, 'I'm so sorry Mrs. Thomas.' And mom said, 'That's OK honey. That's OK," Jim Thomas said. Val Thomas and her family strongly believe that the Lord granted them their miracle and they want everyone to know. "I know God has something in store for me, another purpose. I don't know what it is but I'm sure he'll tell me," she said.
She was taken to the Cleveland Clinic for a specialist to check her out. Doctors said amazingly she has no blockage and will be fine.
[it's so amazing what god can do]
