At the entrance to the Cotswold Sculpture Park, adjacent to the cafe and ticket office, is a very tall totem pole type sculpture made from car parts with a morris minor embedded within it at the top. It looks very much like the Whomping Willow from Harry Potter with the car stuck in it.

Description: This is my new LEGO model after a little dark area in my life, I didn’t expect to build again, but when I saw that great building challenge in a Group called LUGNuts over Flickr I just couldn’t resist! The challenge is all about to build a car suggested to you by one of the group admins, so my assignment was to build a Morris Minor; when first Ralph Savelsberg assigned this car to me I said in my mind “no way I could build this car”, but I just thought about it then I decided to build a Hotrod version of this lovely car, the curvy shape was a pain to translate into LEGO, but here it is, ready to hit your PC screens ;-)
I would like to thank the great group LUGNuts for this amazing challenge; it was a lot of fun to build this model, and definitely build a classic car again.
Hope you like it, thanks for visiting my page.
Ps. Thanks for my friend Bricksonwheels for the great chrome rims :)

I believe that this is an old Royal Mail Van c. 1953.
It is now abandoned in a wood half covered with moss and with a small tree growing from the top.
Black Oystercatchers are not an everyday sight for me, so when this one flew up (during a fruitless search for a Long-Tailed Duck) it made the trip worthwhile. Only after downloading the image did I notice the small flaw in the bird's yellow iris.

I love these guys, I especially love those iridescent scales and the way the light reflects off them. This was about 3mm long, but they can get up to 4.5mm in length, they are a widespread and common species in the UK.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend :0)
