Getting to the 90% marker, slowly but surely. Got distracted by a chevron scarf and a sock, but I'll wind my way back to the Babette this weekend. Just too much double crochet.

This image is part of an ongoing series focusing on minimalism. I really started being conscience of capturing images like these at Red Hills Horse Trials in March and continued to do so at the Fork Horse Trials I & II.
For these images in particular, it really works best on a cloudy/overcast day which I've seen plenty of over the past three events I've shot. But it just goes to show the world is one giant studio as long as you keep your eyes open for those little windows of blank space.
Irene didn't do a whole lot of damage to my house. All I can find is this missing piece of siding on the left side of the peak. There was also a piece of siding stuck under my minivan, but fortunately it seems to have done no damage to the vehicle. I am counting myself very lucky.
