The eye finds a shape and the mind can create either a simple symbol, or an intricate icon. This woodland is in Rosslyn Glen below Roslin Village. A walk in nature and in beautifully untended gardens near both Rosslyn Chapel and Castle.

O'er Roslin all that dreary night
A wondrous blaze was seen to gleam;

And seen from cavern'd Hawthorn-den.
Seem'd all on fire that chapel proud,
Where Roslin's chiefs uncoffin'd lie,
Each Baron, for a sable shroud,
Sheath'd in his iron panoply.
Seem'd all on fire within, around,
Deep sacristy and altar s pale;
Shone every plllar foliage bound,
And glimmer'd all the dead men's mail.
Blaz'd battlement and pinnet high,
Blaz'd every rose-carved buttress fair--
So still they blaze when fate is nigh
The lordly line of high St. Clair.
There are twenty of Roslin's barons bold
Lie buried within that proud chapelle;
Each one the holy vault doth hold--
But the sea holds lovely Rosabelle!
And each St. Clair was buried there,
With candle, with book, and with knell;
But the sea-caves rung, and the wild winds sung
The dirge of lovely Rosabelle.

Of course having supernatural powers can be disturbing for a nine week old cat, but Max has made it clear that he'll only use his powers for good (unless someone pays serious money).
He can also bend spoons, levitate and solve most Sudoku puzzles in under five minutes.
With all the work that has been keeping me busy, doing workshops, exhibitions and getting Dracorubio off the ground as a business, I must not forget to keep doing what I love and that is photoshopping just for fun. just because I can and because it clears my mind. It’s meditative and soothing. Even though the outcome doesn’t look it ;-)

I have been keeping this image in my folder for flickr upload for quite some time. I was contemplating with the photographic value of it as it requires less challenge to come up with the image like this.
But, on the other hand, to spot something like this is not an everyday thing. When it happens, it happens. On top of it, I in particular actually do like this image for the configuration of its branches and the silhouette of it with the cloud formations in the backdrop.
The first thing came across my mind when I saw this dead tree, I was thinking of mind-mapping as it is analogous to the way we would draw mind-map when we are working on projects. I don’t know whether you practice mind-mapping or not to streamline your ideas to make it clear on the flow of it and to break down into its details – but I do.

Canadian Pacific 41B-30 was blasting through Genoa with a business train. The weather was rather impressive if you like lots of rain and wind.
Despite the grey skies and liquid sunshine, the Canadian Pacific FP9s looked fantastic.

Better on black View On Black
“The Fish” strikes again! This is one of my last shots from this interesting place. As I look at it I’m reminded of how I had the world’s worst runny nose from the freezing temperatures. However, this stairway just couldn’t be ignored.
A few of you guys are probably wondering if I disappeared off the face the Earth, especially Exposure.Detroit members. I can definitely say I’m attending the May show! I’m about 60 days away from getting married and little tasks are popping out of the woodwork everywhere. See ya guys!
