My first shots of a Common Mime (papilio clytia) that are seen in plenty in the pre-monsoon and monsoon period but becoming scarce later on. The Common Mime has two mimetic forms in both sexes. This one is of the form 'dissimilis' that mimics the toxic Blue Tiger.
The Pagoda Flower (clerodendrum paniculatum) are like butterfly magnets and that is the reason why I let them grow wild in the backyard. It is a species of flowering plant in the genus Clerodendrum and family Lamiaceae.

The curtain rises, it's time to go on stage, the audience is there waiting while munching popcorn... and the little ones are making an impatient noise. It's time to go the stage is set
The red curtains are lowered on the bare stage, the audience happy with the show gets up and leaves trampling on paper cups, some popcorn and some cigarettes... and, as they exit in a disorganized way, the shouting is lost in the now dark and sad room.
And he is there, sitting on that chair on the stage sad and disappointed for not having once again managed to shout his sadness, anger and loneliness to that indifferent audience who only expects grimaces and mimed actions like the game "guess the title of the movie…"
It's silence now, that deafening silence that buzzes in your head, that dark and dramatic silence from which you would like to escape but, it's no longer time, so you stay there in that chair a little longer and erase the sadness and emptiness of your soul lost, with shoulders curved like a bow, a last smile…
in our garden.
The lantana plants are a genetically modified plant that don't produce seeds and flower prolifically.
