Great day, nice weather, one happy dog. It's been a long time since i've been to lower seletar reservoir. One could kayak in the reservoir now and the crowd there is more than what i remembered.
Katharina Miko is a sociologist, working as an assistant on the Vienna University of Economy in the field of qualitative methodology and is a lecturer at the Institute of Sociology at the Vienna University. Her fields of research are genealogy, gender research as well as urban research/ safety research. Currently she works as project leader in an ethnographic project in the research office “querraum. kultur- und sozialforschung”. The project deals with the diverse definitions of “security” and “safety” of different population groups in public space.
