As my camera is broken, my husband gave me his camera to try out. It was a nice experience.
A natural oil spot in the mud of a hiking trail turns into a deep space view of a star-forming nebula, at least in my imagination.

This day-flying moth (Nannobotys commortalis) is not much larger than a rice grain, and almost invisible when roosting on sand. But as with a lot of cryptic species, up close its pattern and coloration are anything but drab. I've found several of these in the Mojave Desert this spring.
n'awwwh, its diddy :') took a while though, this is a part of my final piece for my AS art project. i'm thinking i might make a stopmotion of my sketchboook... speaking of stopmotions, kinda miss the beauties ed and norma! planning to make another featuring them when i have some free time, so we are looking at around 2020 i should thinkk?

Várias vezes já falei que fico vibrando com o resultado de muitas de minhas fotos.
Essa é uma das que vibrei muito.
É uma super-macro de uma micro planta suculenta, com duas flores, uma abrindo, outra por abrir.
Essa planta mede, aproximadamente 1,5 cm de altura por 2 cm de largura (dá para cobrir com a ponta do nosso dedão da mão), e estava num tronco de árvore a cerca de três metros de altura, no meio do mato, o que tornou a foto muito difícil de ser realizada.
Mas consegui uma foto muito nítida.
O tamanho da plantinha pode ser avaliada comparando-se o tamanho dos liquéns, que todos conhecem e que estão espalhados ao redor dela.
Não fosse uma agressão à natureza, eu levaria essa plantinha para casa, de tão linda.
This plant measures approximately 1.5 cm height by 2 cm width.
This is one species of a selection of day-flying moths found at a local Somerset reserve. The ease on the Covid lockdown here in the UK has enabled us to drive to exercise which is fantastic whilst the warm weather continues.

The last of my micro-scale ships: for the moment at least!
On the left is a relay beacon. These ships were a common sight on the western belt of the galaxy, where navigation infrastructure was less developed.
On the right is a mega-tanker, used for bulk shipping of fuels across the galactic disc.
Gritstone walls are a haven for lichens and mosses. Easy to overlook, this Cladonia colony is only a few millimetres high
Found by chance in a little village today . Loved and cared for by the locals and is used to swap or drop a few coins in the honesty box to buy a book.
I felt like it was about time I started posting more modern combat figs, and with Vic releasing some new figs (I got a specter!) I felt inspired to scrape together a new mod and vest, both of which are made from broken and loose parts.
Also, I am very surprised at how well my Multicam blends in with the surroundings here.
The gun is inspired by one Tanner made a long time ago.

When Alec_GreebleCred_D put out the call for Battlefront builds for BW - I knew I couldn't let him down.
While I knew he choose his favorite - the AT-AT, I choose mine the AT-ST in the tinniest form I could do ....
I also couldn't think of a good scene for these guys, so I shamelessly built a micro version of Alec's amazing display.

Journey is a stunning Playstation exclusive game where you play as a mysterious red hooded figure. The objective of the game is to make your way to this summit, venturing through beautiful harsh desert. Along the way you may meet another player on the same journey as you, you never know.
This is easily one of my most favourite games of all time. It completely took my breath away the first time, and years later it still does. This is a micro teaser for some bigger things to come this year that I hope to complete for BrickWorld ;)
