Sometimes you just make the wrong decision in life. Today was one of those days....
The ultimate goal of the day was to shoot the moonrise. At 94.5% it was almost full but still a little detail to be had. TPE was checked yesterday and it was due to rise 8mins after sunset. Perfect for an orange moon against a pink sky.
We had scouted for shrooms first then saved enough time to get back up high for the main event. Checking PhotoPills on the ascent for its position revealed it was already up!!! WTF!!
My settings for TPE must be on the wrong time zone!
Cleaning the basement and found some Christmas lights. Peanut decided to place in the lights.

This huge harvester ant - around 2cm long - was calmly walking across the pavement in St. Paul's. From the size I guess it's a queen.
It looks slightly different from the ant I identified as M. capensis in South Africa, but reading around indicates some who would like to subdivide the species.
Mmmmhmm~ too much contrast but the girl deserved some photo's! 8D Strangely, i had so much fun photographing her... and i've never really had that with her! :9 Which may be good, i guess~!
Your choice... Fuck with this princess and get the choice of where I hide the body.

There is a lot of mess in this barn and feed lot. But in the midst of the cluttered chaos, a couple of horses and a few cows lend a calmness. Life is like that, lots of messes interrupted by small times of quietness and rest.
The past few days, i´ve been with 39º of fever. Now, recovering from it, i´ve noticed my house is a mess and chaos!
La semana pasada estuve con 39º de fiebre y ahora recuperada me doy cuenta del desorden de mi casa. A limpiar y ordenar!
Some people's first reaction to a mess is clean it up. The first thing I do is leave it. Instead of giving time away to cleaning, I save it and use it to play. You'll gain a lot of years following my advice and you'll most likely annoy a few people.

A ‘mess’ of marine iguanas seem comfortably relaxed on the sharp rocks of Punta Suarez.
(A fact to file away for the pub quiz- a “mess” is the collective noun for a group of iguanas)

The Ontario Southland Railway plow extra takes a run at a particularly large snowdrift along the Port Burwell sub near Ostrander, Ontario. With all of the fluctuations in weather predicted, OSR wanted to ensure their tracks were clear before the conditions thaw & freeze, turning everything into an icy mess.
