The Rakotz Bridge in Kromlau Park is famous for its perfect reflection: The stone semicircle of the bridge and its mirrored image in the water form what appears to be a complete circle – a symbol of harmony and symmetry.

This photograph captures that very moment: Half made of stone, half made of reflection – yet it appears as one seamless whole.

Nature and architecture merge into a magical illusion.

This is an attempt to capture the Milky Way over city of Bath taken from Primrose Hill. One can see a need to stay away from big cities if you want to capture starry sky as all the stars at the bottom are washed out by light pollution even on a clear, cloudless night as this one was. This is a composite of two vertical images each exposed to get panoramic view. Sky exposure (f1.8, 10s, ISO3200) and background exposure (f9, 20s, ISO 3200). Four images were then merged in photoshop. Primrose Hill. Bath, BANES, UK

This panorama was merged from 5 hand held shots taken with the 100 mm lens in late autumn at lake Eibsee when high fogs were swirling in and created some special mood.
