How can you tell what is real and what isn't when your mind makes it real?

Raymond, Washington

Liechennay stainless steel sculptures.

From a very young age, Liechennay has been exposed to the creative process thanks to her mother’s artistic activities, as a gold jewelry designer in Indonesia, her home country.

It was there that he studied, beginning a successful career in interior design before he realized that sculpture would be the next phase of his creative journey.

He worked for several years perfecting his technique and created sculptures that became increasingly complex. He began dreaming of creating large-format sculptures and several monumental sculpture projects became a reality.

I do look like spetsnaz sometimes. 🤔

Mental note to myself: I should smile more! 😁

"I'm picking up a signal from Mars. What about you guys? Could be a distress call, but I'm kind of busy this afternoon. Maybe one of the rest of you can take it. My astral projection is kind of wobbly in this kind of weather anyway."

We have a crystal sphere at home. I was wondering what to do with it. Here I am holding the crystal sphere in the living room, capturing our backyard.

I processed a balanced HDR photo from two RAW exposures, then turned it into a monochrome image.

“Our city, these streets, I don't know why it makes me so depressed. That old familiar gloom that befalls the city dweller, regular as due dates, cloudy as mental Jell-O. The dirty facades, the nameless crowds, the unremitting noise, the packed rush-hour trains, the gray skies, the billboards on every square centimeter of available space, the hopes and resignation, irritation and excitement. And everywhere, infinite options, infinite possibilities. An infinity, and at the same time, zero. We try to scoop it all up in our hands, and what we get is a handful of zero."

Exhibition in London...

GX Gallery is delighted to welcome, for their debut London exhibition, the Paris-based graffiti crew, DaMentalVaporz. BomK, ISO, KAN BRUSK, JAW and LIME originally met in 1999 while writing, tagging, bombing and painting immense urban frescos, in the streets of Paris. The DMV members will be creating another masterpiece live on the night of the private view. This show is a rare opportunity to see the streets of Paris in a London Gallery.

Total physical and mental inertia are highly agreeable, much more so than we allow ourselves to imagine. A beach not only permits such inertia but enforces it, thus neatly eliminating all problems of guilt. It is now the only place in our overly active world that does.

Super old picture from 2020, but looking back at all my old pics and I've decided I like it. So here it is, only 2 years later :P

I'd like to have you embracing my legs and kissing all over me ... one more time

Happy Whiskers Wednesday!

In the northern outskirts of Fort Lauderdale, Florida sits a Conrad Yelvington distribution facility just off the CSX/SFRTA rail corridor. This place hosts quite the eclectic assortment of power used to switch railcars around their small yard. Displayed here is half of the plant's roster: PRLX GP38-2 #5250, an ex Southern high hood purchased by the Progress Rail lease fleet in 2020, and CYDZ ALCo S4 #364, which was built for the Seaboard Air Line as their number 1488 in April 1953. Also here at the plant is another Conrad Yelvington owned ALCo endcab and a PRLX GMD-1. Probably the last thing you'd expect to see in South Florida!

With this series of images I'm hoping to raise awareness of mental health and stop the stigma, when it comes to mental illnesses. Stay strong!

Dang it, I have a mental block.

I am always into jetty ... broken jetty especially and have always wanted to visit this place for a long time. Got to return to this place again because most of my 617 shots were wrongly exposed and I am not completely happy with the composition of this shot.

This was taken facing east during sunset. The vignetting was created by uneven exposure and the colour was the natural hue. They were not post-processed. This photo was NEARLY underexposed.
