Siempre que se comienza a dibujar sobre un lienzo en blanco hay que saber elegir bien los colores y las texturas. Hace tiempo me propuse que quería tener siempre flores frescas a mi alrededor. Uno de esos pequeños placeres que a veces son mi único "lujo". Así que hoy, me regalé flores.

Au pied de l'ancien château de Saint-Cloud, le bassin du Fer à Cheval est une création de Jules Hardouin Mansart à la fin des années 1690.
L’OEUVRE DE LAURENT PERNOT :
"Je me souviens" est une sculpture imaginée pour le Domaine national de Saint-Cloud. Les lettres à demi immergées sont en pierre naturelle de Haims, matière dont la temporalité s’apparente à celle de la nature environnante du parc et de l’ancien château.
A travers les mots, l'artiste propose une expérience de pensée sur notre rapport au temps et à la mémoire. Plusieurs interprétations de l’œuvre sont possibles. Elle peut évoquer la submersion dans l’oubli du passé de l’ancienne résidence princière, ou préfigurer ce qu’il adviendra de l’humain dans le futur.

lo he pintado de una foto que vi ,no me ha quedado como yo queria pero .....oleo sobre lienzo 50x38.
Así funciona el ladrillazo:
El alcalde de Miami pide cotizaciones para pintar la fachada del
Ayuntamiento, y le entregan 3 ofertas (de un inglés, un alemán
Y un español).
La del inglés asciende a 3 millones de dólares,
la del alemán a 6 millones, y
la del español a 9 millones.
Ante tales diferencias se entrevista con los
ofertantes por separado, para que
justifiquen su estimado de costo.
El inglés dice que él usa pintura acrílica para exteriores en dos capas, y que cuesta 1 millón; en andamios, brochas, equipos y seguros se va otro millón, y el otro millón restante es la mano de obra.
El alemán justifica su estimado diciendo
que él es mejor pintor, que usa pintura
de poliuretano con tres capas, cuyo
costo asciende a 3 millones. En
andamios, otros materiales, equipos y
seguros se gastan otros 2 millones, y el
millón restante es la mano de obra.
El último, que es el que finalmente gana la
licitación ya que el alcalde asegura que es el
presupuesto mejor justificado, resulta ser la del
español que le dijo:
Mire Alcalde, 3 Millones son para usted,
otros 3 para mí,
y los 3 restantes se los damos al inglés para que
nos pinte la fachada'.

This is me in 1892. The photographer told me: "Can you put on a smile and look less arrogant?". That really pissed me off and I looked at him with an even more contemptuous air. He took the photo. I took the first train back to London.
Questo sono io nel 1892. Il fotografo mi guardò contrariato e mi disse: "Può accennare un sorriso, avrebbe un'espressione meno arrogante?". Mi irritò molto e lo guardai con un'aria ancora più sprezzante. Scattò la foto. Io presi il primo treno di ritorno a Londra.

A água do mar é fria como o vento da meia noite, então me arrepio toda. Meu desconhecimento total - o vazio da solidão - já tomou conta de mim, já nem me preocupo.
O odor fresco do mar me impregna com sonhos distantes. Mesmo tentando pensar, meus pensamentos fogem de mim. Sou agora um ser perdido - dentro de mim mesma, algo então vai se desfazendo e desaguando como líquido dentro do mar.
