L’extérieur est avant tout remarquable pour la façade, dont les proportions élancées annoncent celles de l’intérieur.
Au-dessus du portail en plein cintre, deux fenêtres géminées et une rose à dix lobes créent une composition digne d’édifices beaucoup plus importants.
La reconstruction reproduit fidèlement la délicatesse de la modénature.
Le mur sud du chœur a conservé, pour sa part, une corniche beauvaisine.

Das „Matzen Haus“ ist das älteste erhaltene Gebäude in Eversberg. Das Ackerbürgerhaus wurde 1595 erbaut und blieb 1635 bei der Brandschatzung unversehrt, weil sich dort hessische Truppen einquartiert hatten

Reading is in southeastern Pennsylvania. Overlooking the city on Mount Penn is the city's symbol, a Japanese-style pagoda visible from everywhere in town and referred to locally as 'the Pagoda'. It was built in 1908 as a hotel and restaurant, but was never used for that purpose. It remains a tourist attraction........Wikipedia
James Matz, sons Chas. E. Matz and Jas. A. Matz were designers of this pagoda. This building with ten acres of land was given to the City of Reading by Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Mould in 1911.

I went back to the Matz property to take some snaps of the old barn and house before demo work began, but unfortunately I was too late.
