Last year, my Matrix lilies didn't bloom. My suspicion was that they just didn't have enough room or weren't getting quite enough sunlight on the balcony.
Earlier this spring, we planted them in front of the garage (Matrix lilies prefer a little bit of shade, unlike most daylilies), hoping for better luck "in the dirt" rather than in a pot. Happily, it paid off! They're such glorious blooms...
