The new changi airport terminal 3's flooring comes with matrix styled reflections of these shiny tiles.
"why o why diddnt i take the blue pill?" me and my mate mike reliving our obsession with the matrix and aviator sun glasses at the same time. i thought it looked good with the reflection of the jelly beans in the glasses.
No photoshop needed this odd sight caught my eye when I stepped out of the elevator to let people out. I return a few moments later to snap the shot.

Last year, my Matrix lilies didn't bloom. My suspicion was that they just didn't have enough room or weren't getting quite enough sunlight on the balcony.
Earlier this spring, we planted them in front of the garage (Matrix lilies prefer a little bit of shade, unlike most daylilies), hoping for better luck "in the dirt" rather than in a pot. Happily, it paid off! They're such glorious blooms...
