This fragile monster only lasted a few minutes without supports. The corners were surprisingly the weakest connections. The original design was bigger, but I didn't have enough magnets. My favorite part of this design is the round tubes. Most frames have sharp edges or corners.

Made using the Flexible Tubes created by Damian O'Connor. This is my take on the technique he created. I like to call it "diagonal tubes" rather than "flexible tubes".

"A mysterious flying saucer is seen hovering over a local neighborhood, it's tractor beam firmly locked onto an innocent family's house!"

Another pin build. I took the picture a week ago, but paranoia prevented me from uploading it before the contest was over. (I didn't want my idea to be stolen.)

This is about 30 magnets under 2 sets.

The houses were from a Monopoly board.

I was testing a new reflection technique. There's more to come with this sub unit (possibly) and a lot more with the technique to make the sub unit.

There's a reason all of the photos use that blue background, and this is the reason. You'll notice that the camera's auto focus focused on the more detailed background than the magnets.

This weekend I finally designed some packaging for my magnets.

Time to clean up this puppy.

224 - Magnet Hat: Last month, Fermilab received delivery of the g-2 (pronounced "gee minus two") magnet from Brookhaven Lab on Long Island (NY, USA). We had a big party to celebrate. I posted a picture of this celebration on day 207, and you can see the big magnet there. The hat on this little girl is a balloon replica of the g-2 magnet, which I think is pretty clever! (I waited to post it today because I wanted to have her mother's permission first, which I now have.) via 500px 500px.com/photo/43071678

This is the back of me car, I decided that I would get some awesome magnet paper and make pretty things on my car, Unfortunately some of the stars were too small and kept falling off and the design on the magnet paper rubbed off, leaving it just plain silver which is fine for the stars but not the name... so I took it all down

I love those little super magnets. The actual note board is smaller in real life than in this picture.

New and improved motorcycle design .. wanted to showcase the amazing added color dimension using NeoBalls while making an identical design using Zen Magnets to show contrast in details visible.

Construction (follow component shots)

(B)=Blue, (Y)=Yellow, (G)=Green,(R)=Red, (S)=Silver

(@072) - (B) Rear Wheel - (2 x 36-balls)

(@036) - (B) Front Wheel - (2 x 18-balls)

(@022) - (Y) Front Wheel Mount - 22-ball ring flattened - wrap around to hex center linked.

(@026) - (Y) Rear Wheel Mount - 26-ball ring flattened - wrap around to hex center linked.

(@52) - (G) Front section #1 - (2 x 26-ball panel)

(@024) - (R) Front section #2 - (2 x 12-ball rings flatted, linked to #1

(@005) - (S) Front section #3 - (2 x 5-ball hexagons) added to top/bottom of #2 ... top will be removed later.

(@012) - (S) Front section #4 - (2 x 6-ball hexagon) linked to the outside edge of #1.

(@014) - (S) Front section #5 - (2 x 7-ball ring) linked to #4 with tip facing outward.

Attach Front wheel mount to Front section.

(@028) - (R) Front bridge - (2 x 14-ball ring flattened, attach between Front wheel center hex to Front section #5.

(@024) - (G) Seat - ((2 x 8-ball panel) + (2 x 6-ball hexagons))

Attach Rear Mount + Seat + Front Section.

(@012) - (S) Rear Axel - (2 x 6-ball hexagons linked)

(@024) - (S) Rear - (2 x 6-ball ring flattened) ... Attach between Axel and Seat edge.

(@48) - (Y/R) Exhaust pipes - ((2 x 9-ball panels) + (6-ball hexagon)) ... attach hexs to flat side orientate with long side up/down instead of sideways ... if sideways, reverse the 2 x 9 panels.

(@065) - Seatback + Rear cover - (see tricky pattern to construct) ... when attaching, green tip down at center, push forward so that the two side edges contact with the seat to create a curved intended seatback.

(@002) - (S/B) Front bridge tips - (2 x 1-ball) added to bridge ends.

Remove top 5-ball hexagon from Front Section #3.

(@028) - (R/B/Y/G/S) Handlebar controls section - ((12-ball ring flattened) + (6-ball hexagon) + (6-ball triangle) + (2 x 2-ball strands) ... attach the hex/triangle together then link to 12-ball ring on bottom, attach handlebar strands to position in pic where magnetic field should keep it sticking out.

Attach the Handlebar control section to Front Section #3 offset slight forward away from the seat section.

These are magnets I made to give to my family at my grad party. They are made with jar lids and liquid plastic. They were so much fun to make and my family loved them.

MagNets for PS4 is a fast-paced top-down 3D “collect-em-up” game with single and multiplayer options, coming soon to PC and consoles. As Park Ranger in Polarity City, the City’s Master Analysis and Organisation Robot (MAyOR) has programmed you with the honourable – if boring – task of maintaining the mindless maintenance “Bloxbots” in the park. If any of them go wrong (and they often do), you need to scoop them up in your electromagnetic net, or “MagNet”, short-circuit them and clean up their mess. Take their scrap metal to the “Recycletron” and get just what you need in return. But something is very wrong… why are so many bots malfunctioning? Why are they so set on destruction? And where in the world have all the cute little Magnetpets gone?

Magnet Club / Berlin / August 27th 2009

One of a kind set of "Antler Creature" magnets. Each magnet is an original illustration and painted by hand. Drawings are on vintage paper, then fixed onto a smooth wooden round, coated in non-toxic resin and a strong magnet fixed onto the back. Comes in a plastic pack.

Durable and unique. Perfect for gift giving or for keeps!

The magnet was connected to a power supply through that connection to adjust the shims.
